Frugal Traveling, at Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has been widely avoided by travelers due to 2 decades of civil unrest, tourism isn’t as high there as it is in neighboring countries like India. While travel there does require about the same amount of budgeting as you would in other countries nearby, you do get more bang for your buck. From empty beaches to beautiful country side, not nearly as much congestion while commuting, and lovely wildlife, Sri Lanka is an underdog in the traveling industry.
